I am part SEAFAIR - a group of socially engaged artists based in the south west, we offer support to each other and we make things happen. We are currently running a crowdfunder to raise money for those of our members who are struggling financially at the moment because of the Covid19 pandemic. We have all offered rewards and hope that people will pledge for these. Please visit the crowdfunder page and take a look.

Some pictures of my pictures in the exhibition
This picture "Magic, I made this one up" has been selected for the
Black Swan Arts Open 2018 which is exciting!
They had over 900 entries from over 500 artists! Crikey.....
The show runs from 19th October to 24th November and it's at
Black Swan Arts, 2 Bridge Street, Frome, BA11 1BB
You can visit their website here
I had to write something about the drawing too.... here's what I wrote:
"As individuals we understand little of how the technology we use every day, actually works. Knowledge has become so specialised and particular; we are overwhelmed by the complexity of it all and mindlessly take it for granted
I enjoy the almost constant presence of utility poles and wires; like minimalist drawings everywhere. I don't understand how they work... but it seems like you should be able to understand them just by looking hard enough. I imagine people staring at them in some not too distant post-apocalyptic future, when knowledge of how they work is lost, and I make these drawings."
Look here, see.... I have an exhibition of my recent work running at the moment. It is on for a couple of months. It's in a solicitors office in Chard, which is in Somerset.
You can pop in and have a look if you happen to be in the area.
It's manily poles and pylons with a couple of roots and sticks in there too.
I had thought that by making, finishing, mounting, framing and presenting quite alot of poles, as I have in the show.... that I might have gotten them out of my system, but no! I still have more to be doing with them. And definitely more roots too.
